Favorite Chinese in Taos. Great service! Excellent Covid practices. Still super hot takeout. As a local we go to Hunan quite often. We love the lunch menu. Yum!
One of the two options for Chinese food in Taos. We ordered To Go here for the following items: 1. Chicken Fried Rice 2. Hunan Chicken 3. Black Pepper Chicken The Black Pepper Chicken and the Chicken Fried Rice were the best items. The Hunan chicken was not upto the mark. The restaurant is conveniently situated in the city a bit away from the Plaza. Ample seating space. However, they had no service available. You can either have To Go or dine there in To Go boxes as no active service available.
No frills amazing food…many vegetation options and…..crispy whole or half crispy duck (20 bucks half duck 40 bucks whole great price!) best I’ve had ‘out west…’ make sure you specify crispy! great tofu with black Mushrooms…. Their buffet was closed when we went and it was take out only with the courtesy of sitting to eat in the shelf-serve dining area….. down home good good Chinese food with a Mongolian bent….
People were nice and friendly and funny. Food was wonderful the orange chicken and egg rolls were amazing they were my favorite but all the food was great we got it to go but we loved the service and the nice hot food
Food was fresh. Take out. Employees were very nice. Price good. Quantity of food good
Went with my wife on October 27. She had Chicken Chow Mein, and I had Seafood Delight (shrimp, lobster, scallops, fish and steamed vegetables). The taste of my dish was on the level of a top notch Chinese restaurant. The sauce had a delicious buttery taste and the seafood was soft and tender. My wife agreed with me, saying that she found her Chow Mein delicious. The prices were very reasonable. Even though the restaurant does not look fancy inside, it is very clean and the employees are courteous.
After we tried to go to 3 other places, we thought we would stop here. BOY am I glad we did! The staff was great! The food is absolutely fantastic! I had the crispy duck. Crispy on the outside and oh so moist meat! You have also got to try the sauce that comes with the duck. Yum yum! My husband had the seafood plate. Naturally I had to sample from his plate, which was great too!
